Beautiful location (I was the DJ for a wedding at the lodge). The ceremony are on the west side vista was lovely and shaded during the early afternoon. The Lodge had plenty of room for festivities and dancing. It was a little warm in the late afternoon on a sunny day.

Beautiful state park that is big rig friendly and some sites have 50amp full hookups. We’re in a 38’ class A and there’s numerous back in sites that we easily fit into. It’s located right on the Puget Sound, so there’s lots of shoreline to wander. We stay here in the summers and it’s wonderful !!

Many people may drive right past this park on their way to the Olympic Peninsula not knowing that it has one of the best publicly accessible views of the Olympic Mountains from Kitsap. Walking to the far side of the playground then down the ramp to the beach, you'll find a magnificent unobstructed view of nearly the entire eastern range. Photographers should get here in the morning to get the best light. This park also has some great campsites, cabins, a nice playground, plenty of day-use picnic areas, and ample parking. A camp host/ranger was onsite as well. There is even a large ranch ballroom on site for large parties. Bathrooms are in good shape and seem well-maintained. Great place for lunch or a few nights of sylvan getaway! Olympic Otter

Stop at Latte on your Way, grab a coffee and then head to this park to explore. Even on a rainy day, this is a big park and there is lots to explore. It's also a great spot for whale watching, and mushroom photography. There is a trail down to the water and beach and could be a good spot to take a dip. There is horseshoe, playground, trails, uncovered and covered picnic areas, BBQs, cabins and more. Go check it out!

We stopped in to check out the campground and ended up spending more time in the day use area. It's a beautiful park with lots of stuff to see and lots of space to spread out and play. There is beach access. Pretty big playground area, lots of space for running around. Picnic tables are set up all over. Shelters should probably be reserved through the state parks website. Actually, I'm guessing reservations are required for the shelters. This is a pretty little gem of a park that seemed to be pretty popular the weekend we visited.
