Welcome to Jones Pond Men's Only Campground & RV Park, a unique retreat tailored for male campers seeking a relaxed and welcoming environment. This expansive campground offers an array of amenities, including rustic areas, hiking trails, a dance barn, a beautiful swimming pool, and an onsite restaurant. With its sense of community and friendly seasonal campers, Jones Pond promises a charming and inclusive atmosphere.

Key Features & Tips

  • Accommodations: Jones Pond offers a variety of lodging options, including cabins, RV sites, and tent areas equipped with power and water. If you plan on staying overnight, booking a cabin might be the best choice as they are a popular choice for visitors.
  • Activities & Facilities: Enjoy a range of activities, including themed events and bingo nights—perfect for both socializing and relaxation. If the swimming pool is a priority, check its operational status before your visit, as it may not be open year-round.
  • Transportation & Accessibility: Due to the campground's large area and the terrain, it is recommended to use a gas-powered golf cart for easy mobility, especially if you're residing on the far end of the property.
  • Community & Atmosphere: The campground cultivates a strong sense of community with welcoming staff and friendly seasonal residents. Newcomers might sometimes need to make an extra effort to integrate into the social circle, but the general vibe is down-to-earth and inclusive.

Overall Thoughts

Jones Pond Mens Only Campground & RV Park is a well-maintained and clean facility that offers a mix of leisurely activities and community engagement. While it excels in providing a comfortable and vibrant environment for long-term campers, some visitors might find it less relaxing due to occasional limitations like uneven roads or fewer tent spots. All in all, for those looking for a gay men's campground with an inclusive spirit and a plethora of amenities, Jones Pond could very well become a cherished seasonal destination.

Update: I returned a year later for a second visit. Also during the week. Still one of my favorites 🤩. I've been to 12 of these 🌈 parks since I bought my camper trailer. They are all different. They all have their own character.. But This one is lovely. It has a comfortable feeling.🥰 After the short bumpy unimproved neighborhood road,😣 you will see the entrance is tight🫢 something I found at two other 🌈parks as well. If you're towing your house behind you, there will be some careful manouvering🫢 Even though I was unable to get in on a weekend to experience an event, 🥳the layout, the different loops, 🌠the rustic areas,🌲 the hiking trails🥾🚶 the dance barn, 🕺🏻the beautiful swimming pool🏊🏻‍♂️, the restaurant 🍽️, the large property for the seasonal residents - surpass any of the other parks I've been to.🙌🏻 It's a wonderful evening walk.🍷 This property is ginormous! Residence would definitely require a gas-powered golf cart. I understand they're adding cabins because that seems to be the biggest seller for overnighters.🤑 Again, something common in these types of parks is very limited overnight RV sites. They seem to all be focused on seasonal and perms, but they do have plenty of ⛺ tent sites. The tent area does have power⚡ and water💦. There's actually a large centrally located tent area,🏕️ a secondary group tent area,🎪 and a rustic tent area in the woods by the stream.🌊 They have a well stocked store with any type of camping need or food item you would need. Also bathing suits and the necessary 🌈 items as well. The price is reasonable. The staff is exceptional.. Cleanliness is second to none. The only thing that's missing is a playhouse😈 or a hot tub. 🤓

We went down for the long weekend. We had the best time. The owners were great. Both were very helpful have informative. You definitely feel the sense of community and everyone was unbelievably welcoming and ready to lend a helping hand if needed. The best part was there wasn’t any pretentiousness. Everyone was chill and down to earth. We can’t wait to make this a seasonal stop over every summer.

We visited last weekend Canadian May 24 Victoria Day holiday weekend ..it was a bit quiet however fun was still had ! The pool was not open yet so that was a bummer We stayed in the cabin and it was very comfy The double bed has a firm mattress and we prefer that. Attached photo is from the Mrs Roper cocktail afternoon at Gord n Jason's trailer We will definitely visit again but on a busier weekend for sure

I believe my boyfriend and I refer to this place as Narnia! The moment we pull in we are in a much better mood. Came for the first time last year, then decided to book 3 weekends this year...and recently added a fourth because we enjoy it so much. Owners are super easy to work with, staff is awesome and very friendly. Great restaurant on site which we enjoy. Seasonals have been AMAZINGLY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING every time we have come. Lots of activities and events throughout the weekend, and who would have thought that Bingo can actually be fun. We typically stay in a cabin, with our dog, and that has been a great experience for him and us. Trust me, we would become a seasonal tomorrow if other things weren't stopping us. If you're thinking about coming, even on a solo trip, then just do it. Won't regret it. Oh, and almost forgot, I cannot begin to express my gratitude for how clean the bathrooms are. Staff are literally cleaning them every 10 minutes it seems like. Love it!

It seems to be well kept and clean, but had more negatives for me than pluses. I’m no stranger to gay men’s campgrounds, so a few things stood out. If you’re not a seasonal camper, you won’t feel very welcomed. Tried hard to chat with people or even get a “good morning”, but met with indifference. They have a large seasonal group, so it’s to be expected. Pool wasn’t heated and the pool itself didn’t have a shady area, so not many were using it. It’s the least “clothing optional” of all the clothing optional campgrounds I’ve been to in terms of people actually being nude. No problem.. just an observation. But you have to be dressed outside the pool area and towards the front of the property, so it’s not conducive to being nude. Last, due to the layout, rocky roads, and topography, it’s not walking friendly. Most of the seasonal group have golf carts, and there are a lot of them. We were at the back of the property and downhill, so had to drive to the pool and dining area. Not my idea of a relaxing vacation. For the seasonal group, I’m sure it’s a lot of fun, but negatives are too much for visitors.
