We were lucky enough to get 2 spots here for labor day weekend. This campground is first come, first served so come early to get a spot-check out time for the sites is at noon. To claim a spot make sure to leave something, or someone, at the site you want to claim BEFORE going down to pay the fee. If not someone else could nab your spot while you are paying. Campsites are really nice and well maintained with drinking water on site. You are not supposed to use the spigots for washing anything though. Bathrooms are either flushable toilets with sinks or there are also vaulted toilet outhouses as well. The bathrooms with flush toilets did run out of TP once but the outhouses stayed stocked. There are no showers at this campground. Quiet time starts at 10 pm and the camphost will come ask you to not only turn off your music, but to also keep voices down too. We went to the beach early in the morning and saw baby squirrels that were colored like little pumpkin spice lattes (they were super cute) and seals out in the water. As with any shore along and ocean beach there are high and low tides. Walk the beach during low tide to see all of the different treasures and tidepools the ocean has left behind for us humans to discover. I found a small piece of rebar that had been tumbled so much it was smooth and a piece of a fishing net which I took back to the trash. You are allowed to fish and get oysters here, please make sure to return your oyster shells to the ocean after you have consumed the good stuff. Brinnon fuels is the closest place to get a fishing licence if you need one. Rumor has it that no one actually catches fish here though. We even saw people out kayaking. There are rentals in the area if you don't own one. Overall this is a really awesome place to camp. Safe and comfortable. Thanks for reading my review, feel free to reach out to me and tell me what you thought of it.

Just went camping here with my boyfriend and had a wonderful time! Absolutely beautiful campground right by the water and it has a nice interpretive trail, plus easy access to the rocky, clammy beach which we walked on for a ways (lots of clams and oysters here all over the beach!)! It's a fairly small campground with lots of privacy between the sites, and very much in the forest. Also the sites were very roomy and comfy!

The campsites were spaced and positioned to allow seclusion for the most part, there is a beach for day time fun (oyster shells galore so water shoes a must) but we swam and the water sounds at night were the perfect touch. Super adorable campground

Beautiful place to stay. Was full by Thursday night for a weekend stay so get there early. 18$ a night. Or 9$ if your a senior. Not able to purchase firewood on site. Most spots have a picnic table and fire pit and plenty of room for a big tent.
