Beautiful, and quite a bit more private than others, especially state parks. Most lots are nestled among dense trees and bushes, so it's nice that you're not right on top of other people's campsites. Bathrooms are good and kept up.

Very beautiful, well-kept campground! The weekend we camped at site 18, it was completely full, but you would never know it with a spaced out with lots. This has become our new favorite for the family!

Nice campground, lots of grass and some shady sites. Some private sites. Lots of hiking trails, however, I only gave 4 stars due to the trail signage not being adequate ( we got lost) and the main trails were not cut back yet so it was hard to know which trail to follow with no signage. Lots of playgrounds for kids. Showers were fine, clean, but the floor got soaked in the non handicapped stalls.

I enjoy camping here, but they have entirely too many raccoons, too many. When it starts to get dark, they start to show their faces, and they are not scared of you. You can hear them at night rambling around getting into whatever anyone leaves out. I heard them fighting over snacks someone across from me left out, which made it hard for us to sleep. Other than that, everything else is full of fun. They keep all the sites clean and grass cut. They have play areas and swimming.

My husband and I loved camping here!!! Our favorite spot so far. We had campsite 61 and totally recommend it, the only downside the showers/restrooms were far away, but there was a toi toi close by. Very secluded, quiet, calm. Lots of people biking and with dogs. Heron Beach is a mile away, we drove there. The bathrooms were clean. Watch out for frogs and raccoons at night! Also, you can do self check in and don't need to go to the office! Would come again!
