If I could give ten stars, I’d surely make it so, Hok-Si-La Park in Lake City is where you’ll want to go. It’s a Minnesota gem, though it feels like somewhere far, With camping and cozy cabins, it’s truly up to par. The staff is friendly, welcoming with a smile, The views are breathtaking, make it all worthwhile. Wildlife roams freely, nature’s grand display, A perfect spot to unwind and escape your day.

Great annual camping experience for the whole family! We’ve camped at Hok-Si-La for 4 years now and it’s become a kind of tradition/routine for us. Many good things there. Good host. Well maintained. Nice camp site (we usually take the wooded sites). Secure with Sheriff horse patrols 3-4 times a day. Nice dry wood for fires; delivered. Clean bathrooms, including hot showers ($0.25 for 1.5 minutes). Beautiful location on Mississippi River/Lake Pepin. Lake City a few miles away with boat rides, food, groceries, gas, etc. Fishing. Balls for use (soccer, volleyball, basketball, etc.). Nice sand volleyball court and playground. Great for families!

I was delighted by this beautiful campground! The grounds were well maintained, the cabins look beautiful, the views of the river and lake are breathtaking. Access to the beach is free to the public, There were also bathrooms and showers, however we didn’t use them. There was a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the beach. It was pleasant and we enjoyed trading in the scenery. Heading down to the beach is a small hill. The beach was medium sized. There was a lot of space to spread out so that we didn’t have to sit close to other people. I loved how soft the sand was. We noticed a lot of crushed seashells closer to the water. The water itself was dirty river water. There are some places further up on the river where the water is cleaner. I don’t know if it was because there were many people in the water stirring it up, or if it’s always so murky. The bottom felt sandy, not muddy. However, even though I was only standing in the water watching my kids play, I was covered in debris. We would recommend it and come back because we had a wonderful time!

This place is amazing. Had a great 3 night stay with a beautiful quiet view of the lake. Id highly recommend it. The manager Lisa does a great job:)

Our daughter got married at Hok-Si-La in front of Lake Pepin. It was absolutely beautiful! Lisa was wonderful to work with and the Dining Hall worked great for the dinner and dance!
