We came one night and ended up paying for a month. We absolutely love it here. The owners are very friendly. Restroom and showers are clean and the property is clean and well maintained. If your looking for a place to enjoy yourself look no Further! Going to get another month love it here! These negative reviews must be from people who don’t want to stay at a property that is quiet and owners run a tight ship. We appreciate it. Thank you Chuck and Lin for keeping it so great! Our family used to be seasonals on the south side of the campground many years ago. We bought a small, older trailer and wanted to take it somewhere close to make sure everything worked ok away from home. We thought we would give Hide Away Campground a try again. We had a great time! It was very quiet, lots were spacious, we had an amazing view of the lake. We are definitely going back!

Recently visited this campground to do service work for a customer. This was a campground that I had never been to for our service, but the customer who called was in desperate need to have repairs done. Upon arrival, I was directed to the camper in need of work by the customer on the phone. When I was getting set up to perform the service required, there were issues with addiquate power supply to operate some of my tools. I had offered for the customer to bring their camper to my repair facility to complete the task they had called me out to do. Upon hearing of my power issue, the campground owner called me to chew me out ( the service technician ) on the phone. First, the owner had a huge problem with me even being on the property as a guest to perform a service. Second, he made threats that I had slandered his business in the process. I would give a zero for a review if I could and will not be servicing this campground.

Close to home. Nice lake to try and fish. They have daily rentals for row boats and kayaks for $30. We brought our own, had to pay $10 to launch. Must be off the lake by 8p. Clean bathrooms, access to water and electricity.

Campground is quiet and kept clean!! People in office is so nice to us when we come to camp or boat usage!! Been coming for 2 years now and will definatley be back next yr and more to come!!
