My sister and her two sons came and visited me from Florida and stayed here in their RV for a couple of nights.. it was quiet, clean, and pleasant. The owners were so warm and welcoming and my nephew's had a great time swimming and feeding the goats😆and checking out the peacocks!.. all in all, we felt welcome and enjoyed ourselves! This is definitely a place that you can take your family. We will be using their services again in the future! Thanks for the hospitality Hidden Oaks!!! ... It was definitely a pleasure.

A complete nostalgia feeling, revisiting this beautiful place after staying here every month as a kid. Everything was so familiar, from the pool and the river, to the gorgeous peacocks. I am very glad these things are still here. The bath houses are renovated and much cleaner than years ago, though! Haha! The new owners are very sweet, I love that they will stop to talk to you. I was given such helpful advice from them. I can't wait until next time! ❤️

😆😂 more like hidden jokes.do you remember the campground on national lampoons vacation? that.oh yeah and the Mexicans have taken over and aren't shy about setting up with a 40 person family literally right on top of you almost as if to let you know it's their turf now and you aren't welcome.thats why I left the last time and won't be back.if you're here illegally from South of the border you should fit right in.guess it's a sanctuary park now or something but anyway you've been warned.its cheap and full of cheap people,you may or may not get what you pay for.how on earth would you know if I ever been there,do you have ESPN or something?it was last year and what reminded me of the incident is I heard the police heading to hidden oaks campground on my scanner earlier and thought hmm,that figures maybe I'll post my experience so others will know better thus the late review.I wasnt camping there, I'm from here so I would NEVER camp there!I was visiting someone who was trying to camp there when out of the blue 1000 Mexicans showed up while we were trying to cool off in the mud hole,I mean river, and parked about 6 inches on both sides of us and started cooking refried beans and baptizing people in the river so we all made our way about 6 inches upstream from them,took a nice long leak in the muddy canal so it could drift down and then I helped them pack their things and we all left and have never been back and will never be back.if you must know.Im upset about youre guest who dont respect other peoples personal space and couldnt care less about your policies regarding day passes or whatever.theres 40 acres they could have parked and set up church and I literally could barely open my door enough to get in my truck and ive spoken to others who have had almost identical experiences there since and they haven't been back either.rather than making assumptions you could hand out flyers or something telling your guest to respect other guests space.if someone is there before you dont park and start scattering your stuff six inches from them because with all the drugs and drinking we witnessed its going to turn out bad sooner or later.place is a dump.

Spent two nights at Hidden Oaks and will definitely be back. The property is beautiful with extensive wooded trails along the river. Our site backed up to the river and was level and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. We loved watching the peacocks and ducks each evening.
