Beautiful park. No one works on Tuesday and Wednesday. Gate closes at 10 pm, no code so you better be back from Tulsa by then. Electric only. Water available to fill tank, but many campers hook up to it like no one else needs water. No one around to enforce sharing of water.

Great campground, the camp hosts were great. Clean restrooms and showers. Stoped here for a week on our way back to Arizona, beware the rocoon Mafia first night they got into our ice chest and stole our sirloin steak and our fudge from Uranus .

Camp grounds are nice for the most part. Some spots are on a big slope. Wouldn’t recommend a spot near the water if you have little kids, it’s in the name “bluff”… no water at the sites but there are water taps around the park. The bathrooms are not maintained and showers are a heat pressure washer.

Thus is an area around Oologah Lake. It has a super nice beach with the swimming area very clearly marked for swimming. They also have tons of life vests available to use for free for those who may need it. As with any lake in Oklahoma, there are rocks, so make sure to wear your swim shoes.

Park hosts snitched on my 7-year-old son riding his electric drifter the showers is nothing but hot water and it's so hot in there afterwards that you can't even get dressed the bathrooms are hot and not ventilated but it's entertaining trying to keep the raccoons from taking your stuff at night 😂 nice Beach wonderful place to swim not very diverse
