Halloween Camping 👻 at Groveland Oaks was so much fun! We had a group site and shared a community fire pit. Our campsite for our camper which was nice and clean. The bathrooms/showers are not too far of a walk they were clean. The swimming area was nice, it does not go deep at all. There were lots of kids for the activities so the lines were very long. Bring your bike there is so much to do on your bike. The dance was a lot of fun as well. Can’t wait for next year! We went Sept. 14th. Lots of people decorated it was very cool.

We've been going to Groveland Oaks; for our Family and Friends Camping Adventures, for many years. It's always CLEAN; bathrooms and showers are nice and Clean. Staff is always friendly and helpful. There is all kinds of things to do (Put-Put Golf; Paddle Boats; Biking; and more). I LOVE Groveland Oaks.

We spent 5 nights here for the first time this past week. We were site 240 (elec/water) and our friends were 238. We had a 36 ft camper and they had a tent. These were a perfect set up for us to share the space. Lots of fun things for the kids! Great beach area, putt putt, tons of playgrounds, skate park, fishing and more! We were there Fri-wed. They had a guy bring different types of "critters"to see like snakes, frogs, birds. That was fun! We hadn't got to use the kayaks and paddle boats over the weekend we were there because of other things going on, the weather and they closed early one day. On Monday we went to use them only to find out they are not open during the week. Ours kids were devastated. It was the 4th of july week! You think there would of been extended hrs. Other wise we had a great time and hope to return. It just seems hard to get reservations.

Great, large campground for families, lots of Playgrounds. Also mini golf, basketball, gaga ball, fishing, paddle boat rental and plenty of area to walk around. Beach was nice, no concession stand open, almost looked like it was abandoned except the pop machine and bathrooms. Fishing was alright, all areas off the actual shore have so much seaweed and lily pads, you have a hard time catching fish and have a better chance of getting your line caught. Campsites near areas D and E are very spacious, unsure of other ares, assuming the same. The themed weekends were cool for the kids. Great for pets except our dog didn't like the sharp rocks at the campsite where a camper/ rv may park. ( lots of doggy clean up bag boxes around. Lots of police and employee presence. Unfortunately the worst part of the Stay was the cleanliness of the restrooms. The kids went into the men's room and 1 toilet wasn't working, another and feces on the floor, this was there for hours as kids made multiple trips thought the day. ( assuming an employee had already been contacted per discussion with other campers/ people near by) The women's was better but looked to be brown smears on inside of stalls. The rest of the campground was great and had nice views.

Great campground. Kept up well, clean, lots of kid activities including treat or treat weekends in Sept. Continuous patrolling by Oakland County Sheriff. Kids favorite place to camp.
