We spent many vacations here over 10 years' time as my son was growing up. We've had spots in all different parts of the park and were never disappointed in any. Our Yellow Lab was able to relax as well. She once snuck off on her own walk, and thankfully the proprietor saw her near the lobby, so he kindly took her into a room inside the lobby to keep her safe until we got her back. I will never forget him! The park is designed as a long oval, so kids can scooter or bike ride around the entire place from your site. You can walk your pup, and exercisers can safely walk or run, too. The secure entrance to the riverbed is at the back of the park for those who ride the San Gabriel riverbed. There is a small dog run, heated pool and separate hot tub. Washers & dryers available, and hot showers. Gated park, we always felt safe, although you still need to use common sense here as well as anywhere. Not a fully stocked snack shop but has necessities to purchase. Bring your favorites with you. Closely located to many Long Beach attractions. I miss those years!

My spouse & I had a lovely stay here. All of the employees that we came into contact with were extremely helpful & nice. Golden Shore has great amenities. There's a pool, hot tub (it's actually hot), showers with exceptionally hot water, and it's not timed to shut off during use, a laundry room, a small kitchen area, a dog run, a large communal fire pit, open grassy area and multiple trash bins and recycling containers. Even though our space backed to the off ramp of W. Shoreline Drive the vehicle noise was minimal, even on a Saturday night. The small berm they built at the fence line helped dampen the noise. Having full hookups at our site (included at all sites) was nice since we were there for 7 days. We would definitely stay at Golden Shore during the Long Beach Grand Prix if we can get a space (there is an upcharge during the Grand Prix, but you can't get much closer). The Catalina Express Long Beach port is a very close walk, it was perfect for our Catalina day trip. There is also a bike/walking path that takes you to Shoreline Village where there are a multitude of restaurants and shops. There is also the Long Beach Transit that can take you almost anywhere in Long Beach, it is the preferable way to travel during extremely busy times when parking is almost nonexistent.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This place is our most favorite go to in Southern California. Well, actually in all of California! It’s immaculately kept from the dog run to the laundry room, pool, grounds, EVERYTHING! You will not find a more accommodating, kind staff than here. We have stayed here and returned in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. We developed a family experience with not only the staff, but also a few residents. It’s difficult to leave when you find a place like this. When we left this year, it was an emotional moment as it was the first time we were not making a following booking. We need to be elsewhere for family reasons for now. However, when we are able to return, they will put first call! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I stayed at Golden Shore RV resort in Long Beach on May 30, 2023 and, unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Reception and Service: The reception staff were quite rude and unhelpful. Despite being a military member, I was disappointed to find out that they do not offer any military discounts. Additionally, the park is quite expensive for the level of service provided. Facilities and Cleanliness: Upon arrival, I was not given a map or any instructions, which made navigating the park quite challenging. The place had an unpleasant smell, and despite the park being mostly empty, the receptionist insisted on packing us in with other RVs. When I requested to switch spots, I was not allowed to choose a different site. Site Issues: The site assigned to us had a non-functional electrical hookup. Instead of moving us to a different site, we had to wait for their electrician to come and fix it, which was quite inconvenient. Location and Safety: The park is located in downtown Long Beach and is gated, but I would advise being cautious of your surroundings. The area felt a bit sketchy with homeless people frequently walking around. Overall, my stay at Shoreline RV Park was disappointing, and I would not recommend it based on my experience.

I was a little nervous when I booked. I did not know what downtown Long Beach was going to be like. But I was pleasantly surprised. The park was nice, clean, and no run down trailers with people living in them. It was a mix between family’s that are spending the daytime in Catalina. The other half is business people. In town for meeting or just started a job. I rode my first electric scooter from a restaurant in the heart of downtown to the Rv park. It took 8 minutes and it cost $6. I would stay again.
