Tips for Visiting:

  • If you're visiting during hot weather, make use of the pool and splash pad to stay cool.
  • Be sure to check the availability and operation times of amenities like the swimming pool, especially on weekends.
  • Keep an eye on pets and kids around the campground, as there have been mentions of fast-moving vehicles that might be a concern.
  • If you're planning a long stay, inquire about the best sites, as the staff might offer more private spaces with better amenities.

Considerations:

  • Some guests have noted challenges with cleanliness in certain accommodation areas, so checking your space upon arrival might be prudent.
  • Be prepared for some operational quirks, like early closure of laundry facilities or specific RV parking requirements.

However, some operational and facility issues suggest room for improvements. As with any travel experience, it’s beneficial to plan ahead and confirm details that are important to your stay.

Room was not swept, the floor was filthy. There is only one A/C per cabin which kinda sucks because the room gets so hot in the summer. The main bed in the cabin is so hard to sleep on. The pool and splash pad are a fun addition. But overall I give it 2/5.

We litterly just left this RV park. You need to visit! My kiddos had a blast! The staff was so friendly! The pool and splash pad saved us parent's on this hot weekend! The campground is so nice! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for a great weekend of memories! Love the Potswald Family!!!

Bizarre place. Reception didn’t know how much the laundry was, and were reluctant to provide change to use their laundry facilities (which, incidentally, are shut impractically early - at 5pm most days or7pm Fri/Sat. Not exactly convenient for anyone who wants to do anything in the afternoon before arriving at the campsite). We stayed over the weekend and were told the swimming pool isn’t open on Sunday mornings… again slightly bizarre, you’d think this would be a peak time for people who stay over on a Saturday night. We were told we had to back into our RV slot, meaning our pipes and cables wouldn’t stretch to the water and drainage provided in the pitch. There were lots of big dogs loose around the place while we were here. One ran at me and my daughter at one point, causing my daughter to hurt herself as she ran away, but thankfully that one was tied up unlike many of the others. The facilities onsite aren’t bad overall (hence, the 3 star rating), but its running feels very amateurish. Not cheap either (we paid $79 for one night). If they try being a bit more customer-centric this could be a decent place.

Has a major feral cat problem. We constantly were shooing cats from off the top of our vehicles and on/around our camper. The workers drive around on side by sides way too fast. A hazzard for kids and dogs. Actually everyone in the campground drives way too fast, it’s kind of scary. Too chilly when we were there for any of the fun amenities. People at the front desk were always kind and helpful.

We were coming all the way from Ohio as a traveler RN and needed a place near the hospital for our RV for long term. We did the whole vetting process over the phone or by mail and were accepted and couldn’t be happier. The staff is friendly and attentive and they actually reached out to us to ask us if we wanted a different site with a deck and had a larger yard because they knew we had kids. It was so kind and has been so great. We have privacy and a large space now. And just this week they layed down gravel because they noticed the puddles where we park our truck (we didn’t ask them or complain, they just noticed it and did it). The grounds are kept up and I can tell by the chatter that they are trying to improve the place from lax rules and attention from previous managers. My family is very happy here and we highly recommend for short or long term RV sites.
