Pulaski Park provides Philly with a pleasant escape from the incessant noise of the bustling city. The park offers scenic views up and down the sparkling waters of the famous Delaware River. Tugboats, freighter ships, tankers, and barges are often seen plying the waters. Pulaski Park is easy to reach. Just follow Allegheny Avenue traveling East, all the way to the Delaware River. Drive with extreme caution once you pass under the I-95 freeway, especially on weekdays. There's an abundance of heavy trucks entering and exiting the roadway from numerous industrial facilities on both sides, and from the Tioga Marine Terminal just down the road past the park. There's a parking lot just inside the front gate. But it's relatively small and fills up rather quickly on weekends and holidays, especially when pleasant weather prevails. Exercise extreme caution inside the parking lot. Watch out for children, fishermen, and bicycles traversing the blacktop. Be especially cautious when exiting the park. Because there's only one gate, it's necessary to back up out of your parking spot facing the opposite way from entering the park. One visit won't be enough. You'll want to visit this precious gem of a park again and again.

This place been around for as long as I can remember 45 years ago as a kid I used to come here sometimes to fish to hang out was always fun I know it’s more updated today witch is good now I come here with my 4 kids and wife sometimes when it’s not too crowded still a nice place I just wish spots like this was open all night …

This is a really random spot. I happened to spot it driving by so stopped in. They must have just recently renovated the park. The renovation and views are very awesome. I just want to bring light to all the pollution. If you walk out to the edge of the water you can see all the trash that has washed up on shore when the river is high. Really sad to see. We really need to start being mindful of our environment. I dont recommend walking your dog out to the very end of the dirt path. I spotted needles everywhere washed up in the debris. Very sad to see.

It was a pretty cool experience fishing there for my first time. I just wish trash and debris were cleaned up from the water. There were a homeless couple in the park also which was awkward to explain to my 7 year old.
