Gorgeous, well-maintained park with accessible paved paths and "off road" hiking trails. This park is so easy to visit. Stop by the visitor center (across the street) first. They have excellent exhibits and information about the park you will want to have to plan your visit. The most stunning views are at sunrise and sunset. Don't miss the "high point overlook".

SO beautiful! Amazing rock formations with lots of scenic hikes. Many of the hikes are short, but they are also all interconnected. So it's easy to make a full morning of hiking here. The visitors' center is away from the actual park, but you do get a good view.

Absolutely an amazing experience! Make sure you stop by The Visitor and Nature Center to pick up a trail map. Bubbles (one of the front desk ladies) is a breath of fresh air with her positive attitude. Additionally, for a $6.00 ticket fee, a 12 - to 15-minute HD movie is available. This movie explains how the red rocks came into existence. You have the option of driving through the formations (stopping along designated points to take pictures) or walking the trails. Additionally, the views are breathtaking, making you feel as if you are on top of the world. Don't forget to stop by the Trading Post. They have a wonderful selection of hot food options paired with the best customer service. Picnic areas are located throughout the park. I highly recommend going early to avoid large crowds. After 11:00 am, this place is packed. Side Note: The uploaded menu is from the Trading Post. Perfect option for anyone looking to have a spontaneous picnic. Just make sure you clean up before you leave 😀. Meaning: leave nature the way you found it.

Garden of the Gods is simply amazing! The huge red rock formations are so unique, unlike anything I’ve ever come across before. Whether you’re up for a casual walk or a more adventurous hike, the trails here cater to everyone, and every step rewards you with breathtaking views. You can take your time and just soak in the scenery, snap photos, or even try some rock climbing if you’re feeling adventurous. The whole park is super clean, and the best part is that it’s free to visit! Make sure to check out the visitor center, too—they have some cool exhibits and info about how these rocks were formed and the history behind them. I’d suggest going early in the morning or catching a sunset; the colors on the rocks during those times are something you won’t forget!
