Our paradise in a hurricane! We were the"fleers" from Florida away from hurricane Milton. Gay and staff are amazing! Helping all who came with a smile or a cookie and sometimes a much needed hug. The site was great and the swing bench overlooking the pond calming. A wonderful place to camp, we will be back!

Perfect location just off the freeway. The sites are in among the trees. The service was friendly and we enjoyed the cookies. We also ordered a pizza and it was very good (the price was great). Walked around, talked, and got a much needed rest. We felt welcomed and safe.

Very nice campground. This was our first KOA experience. We have a 24’ RV towing a 14’ utility trailer. We arrived after hours and our packet was waiting and instructions were clear. We used the shower house by the pool and it was spotless. Although the campground is located right off I-75 it was quiet. I will agree with other reviewers who pointed out the tight turns but we would stay here again

Big rig accessible (40 foot 5th wheel) There are some sites at the bottom of the KOA that I would consider big rig friendly but the roads to them are a bit narrow and the campground is hilly so can be tricky to navigate a big rig. We would stay here again so it wasn’t so hard that we would avoid it in the future. Pros - Staff was friendly, helpful, and responsive. - showers were hot with good water pressure and clean. -Had nice amenities such as basketball court, tether ball, mini golf, dog park, pool (closed for season), and playground. - activities for kids and the staff were super kind to them -No issues with electric or water. -good TMobile service - super close to I-75 (good for easy on and off, bad for the quiet) Cons -Amenities could use updating. We loved having the options to utilize but they were “ok” in comparison to other KOAs we have utilized -showers were small. You have to raise the bench to open/close the door. - some of the sites were at a steep incline and difficult to level rig. - no Starlink in the upper section. I believe there would have been decent connection in the lower lot. - there were a lot of fast driving trucks in and out of the campground. Speed limit was not followed well. Overall would stay again and would attempt to get the lower section if possible.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay very much. It is obvious that a lot of upgrades are going on. The shower house we used was very nicely updated and super clean. The actual shower is one of the nicest ones we have seen in any campground. This KOA is right on I-75, so it’s a good stop enroute to your destination. We were in site 37 and we heard no traffic noise from inside our Travato van. Cynthia at the front desk was amazing and very kind and efficient. She even gave us chocolate chip cookies right out of the oven! We did not order anything from the kitchen, but they do sell pizza, wings, poppers, etc. There are no fire rings or grills, so be prepared to cook inside your camper if you don’t order a pizza, etc. The staff was extremely nice and their camp store is stocked with a lot of important items for campers. They have a nice pool and a mini golf, (which is in need of repair). Also a small dog run for your pets. All in all, we were quite pleased with KOA Forsyth and will definitely stop here again!
