In LOVE with this park and campsite! We are on Puget Sound and it is very peaceful here! The cost is incredible and the view is perfection. It’s a fifteen minute drive to the ferry and another 45-ish minutes to Seattle. The ferry process is a breeze. The little playground kept my son busy for hours and hours.

Such a beautiful place. We were lucky to be there during the Super Blue Moon. We live close by and come here to camp or just for the day. We stayed in cabin 5. Very private and has a great deck. Wish there was a mini fridge inside. Would help a lot. Theres only one bathroom, which makes it difficult when you have a full lot of campers. And no sink, which is odd. But they do provide hand sanitizer. On the negative, which isn’t completely the parks fault, are the screaming kids and barking dogs. Parents, why do you allow your kids to scream at every moment they're awake? It’s so obnoxious, not to mention we’re trying to enjoy nature. I’m a mom. I’d never allow my child to scream like that. Parent up! And dog owners. Please. Stop bringing your barking dogs. Barking the entire day is disrespectful to others. I have 2 dogs. They don’t bark constantly. If they did, WE WOULDN’T BRING THEM. I wish the park enforced that more. Otherwise, a nice experience and the beach is just beautiful. Bring binoculars. There are many birds. Eagles, osprey, kingfisher, etc.

Views of the Cascade Mountains, Puget Sound, and on a clear day Mt. Rainier and possibly Mt. Baker. This park offers both tent and RV camping. There is also a day-use parking lot. A little boardwalk and plenty of sandy beach. Keep an eye out for eagles and seals. You don't have to climb over all the driftwood and big logs because there's a path. Plenty of picnic tables and a number of benches. Reasonably clean restrooms. Not too crowded and a fun place to explore or have a picnic. It's really a pretty decent park plus - there's a big Pirate Ship structure in the kids playground.

The park and attendant are wonderful, but because they failed to treat “ pokey bushes” we had to go spend $200 in shoes to protect everyone’s feet, even in flip flops these burr type sticker plants get in your feet , our poor little toddlers were the first to find out, no warning signs or anything, then we took them home on our tent and stuff only to figure out there is seeds in them!! Hoping they do not thrive in our environment, the park really should go through and burn them since they didn’t treat and it’s a harmful invasive species.
