Unfortunately, Google satellite view does not do this RV park justice! When we booked our site, we weren’t sure what to expect, once here, we noticed how clean it was, all the lots are very spacious, and accommodated our 45’ coach! The ease of getting out of town was great! The views of Pikes Peak, the sunsets, and the sunrises are unobstructed and incredible! We seen multiple hot air balloons fly over two different days, and if you like small aircraft, this place is for you! It sits just north of a small airport, with small engine airplanes flying in & out!! It has a nice play area for kids, laundry and much more! Save room for us, because we will be back!

KOA was not our first camping experience... unfortunately. We left another Park South of there about 11 miles thinking we had made a horrible mistake deciding to take our family and pets on the road. I drove out to preview the falcon Koa park to make sure it would work for us. I had read good reviews and was slightly hopeful. When we arrived Roberta was so welcoming! She assured me camping should be fun and enjoyable for families, kids...AND their pets! Upon arrival my son had a nose bleed, she jumped into action, offered a place to wash up and stayed by to see it through. Then she offered the kids cold drinks and popcorn. Roberta- thank you from the bottom of my mamas heart!💗 The office was clean and inviting, signing up for the membership was easy and she walked me through booking the next KOA. So easy! The bathrooms...so clean and comfortable-it was cold out and they were well heated. There are clean towels for showers, clean and efficient facilities, the laundry room even felt like home. My kids 18,17,15,13,11 put together puzzles at the room off office, played pickleball, basketball and horseshoes! Their prices are very reasonable we even decided to store our cargo trailer there. Their dog park is adequate and fenced, with water spout and doggie bags. Their park is spacious and well maintained. Every staff member we came in contact with was helpful and friendly. How many ways can you win!? This place was was awesome!!

We were looking to stay in the area long term, but wanted to check it out first so we paid for one night. It’s basic. No real amenities, but clean and functional. The speed bumps are obnoxious. The staff seemed friendly, even though untrained. I asked about a monthly spot, but was told they don’t take bus conversions long term. We’ve been full-time 7 yrs, so even though unhappy about it, we’ve heard this before and understand park policy. When we checked out the next day, I let the ladies in the office know (one was a trainee and one camp host) that we found a spot to boondock down the road and asked the cost to “dump and fill.” She said it would be $20. We come back a week later to do so. After dumping, I went and asked where the fill station was bc the hose permanently attached to the spigot was cut short. The camp host, who is in the office, tells us we are not allowed to fill our tank since they are on a well. I asked what she thought I meant when I had said “dump and fill.” She says she thought I meant fill propane. She continues to say that most people who come to the park to dump already have full tanks of water. She was completely ignorant. I couldn’t believe this lady was running the place. I already had to pay for the dump so I tell her we will pay the difference to stay in a spot for one night. At first she refuses, but then she relents on the condition that we don’t fill our tank at our spot. Umm yeah…ok. We won’t be back. Pics of our bus in a site.

This is the first time we’ve seen a glaring lack of consistency with KOA. It doesn’t have most of the amenities others have but still charges the higher rates. It’s a huge gravel lot with some patios and tables. Nothing makes this place a destination. No WiFi because they got cancelled but it’s not their fault they say. We won’t be back.
