Every season this place is a gem! Love hiking beyond the nature trails and finding remnants of the old lakeland asylum, the fabulous wetlands trail and the area across, beside and behind from the sawyer hayes building. There are many ducks in the huge pond. There is a perfect field to the left of sawyer hayes for watching the eclipse or for having a picnic on a blanket. There is also a sheltered picnic table area with restroom in front of the trail entrance. The other side of the park has a fitness trail, nature trails, playground, pool, tennis courts, soccer fields, bathrooms and great fields for flying kites.

Terrible trail maintenance. Lots of dead falls and widow makers hanging over the trail. Office says it opens at 8 but doors where still locked at 830 and did not have information on hand that should have been basic to haves. Illegal trash dump 50 ft from the parking lot by the community building. Do better

Best state park for sports activities such as swimming, soccer, indoor sports like table tennis, badminton, chess and many more. You can do walks and follow trails and even walk your dog in this park. Family friendly and good for kids to swim and visit especially during summer.

Beautiful park with many great facilities. Grounds are kept clean and well manicured. Hiking, pickleball, soccer, tennis, and more to di. Even geocaches and plenty of sinkholes to admire.
