A good trail is fairly easy to navigate and enjoy. We were on the lookout as the sign on the parking lot cautions you about bears. No bears but many chipmunks, fish, and some deer. Overall a great day and highly recommend this location.

My husband was so happy! He loves fishing and I love the outdoors. We drove in pretty far and found a spot on the river where we could get in the water and fish. The water is so cold even in June! He caught three brown trout. No cell reception. Best spot for fishing, getting off the grid, and scenic views. ****From the Uncover Colorado website**** The park’s summer office hours are from Friday to Tuesday, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. It is closed Wednesdays and Thursdays, however, the Park itself is open 24 hours a day to hunters and fishers. All other activities are restricted from 6 am to 10 pm. Staff are on hand at the park entrance during seasonal operating hours and can answer questions. During off-season and closed hours, a self-service station is available to visitors. There is a per-vehicle fee for admittance to the park. The fee covers day use only and varies according to vehicle type. Annual passes are available. Government and military training vehicles are not required to pay the fee.

It's so beautiful! Everyone was so nice and happy! Both Lil store have lots of things for your stay! My husband and I needed to get away! So happy he chose 11 mile! No fish tho. My only complaint is there no shade! DEFINITELY BRING A SHADE TENT! You will love it!

Beautiful scenery, great space to walk around, welcome center/building has plenty of information. One tip, in off-camping season do not park in a camping site 😅. Ranger respectfully asked us to move & we promptly did without realizing we had! Haha. Saw a little Garter Snake (harmless to humans)! Lots of fisherman! Remember to leave no trace!

We fished at the reservoir, and can see spending a bit more time here. I wished I had my paddle board! It's a beautiful place. The road in was rough, and totally worth it. Nice remote reservoir, hope to be back!
