This is one of our most frequented state parks. We have utilized all of the camp areas and especially love the screened shelters during cold and hot weather. Despite a burn ban being in place during this visit, we made the best of imitating the glow of a campfire with twinkle lights. The trails are well maintained and always a fun time for the pups.

I enjoyed camping at Eisenhower State Park. Everything is well kept here, including the showers and bathrooms, and friendly staff throughout the park. The hikes are clearly marked along the trails. I’d get in the water next time as it was hot. The trails aren’t too bad, a little easier than the trails map claim.

Beautiful park. Very scenic and spread out. Many camping options. Nice boat ramp and a great day use area as well. The park is very clean and well maintained. There are many fishing options as well. A fishing pier is also available.

This is a great park to relax in. It’s rarely packed and definitely not as busy as the other state parks, and I think the fish in the lake don’t like me, but it’s quiet and full of nature. The park staff is always helpful and nice but there are a few things I would change — the swimming area is difficult to get to and it could use a better playground for families. And just a personal wish — they have a smoker outside but you can only use it if you rent the group facilities, even if there’s no group reservation that day.. it would be nice to be able to smoke some fish or some ribs while camping. All in all I had a great time and was able to relax and unplug for a few days!

Great place to hike and rest. Trails are good to go under the shade of trees. Some trails are wet today but you still can find your way. Beach was closed but wild swim is an option as always. We were able to buy daily pass today at the entrance without any issues but in the hot season maybe it's good to get it booked online beforehand for sure. The staff was very friendly.
