Let me start off by saying I called desert trails RV park home for a year . They went up on my rent at least two times I was charged the deposit and I moved in when my rent come to the second month Jesse was nowhere to be found and her husband messed it up and Jesse thinks that she's able to go into your bank account and start charging what she doesn't tell you is every card that you use on the premises she keeps on a computer and goes in there and hits you with penalties and fees and whatever she sees fit.. the park is dark very very few lights and they lead you to believe that there's a security team out there which there is not the guy comes out once in awhile if Jesse calls him otherwise there's no security you have people that drive through the park still and stuff so you better keep it all chained down there's mobile homes inside the park that Jesse claims or not for rent and she only been some to selective people I needed a cabin for 6 months so my mom could come out of ICU and Jesse told me that she could not rent me a cabin for 6 months that they did not do them long-term and then I find out that there's a guy that's living in a cabin that's been there for a year it's owned by some brothers that are into it for the money only they don't really want to hear you they don't really have any way of contacting them it's all top secret. The park fills up with Rich folks that think they run the place and Jesse allows us to go on so they have a Monday morning b**** session so they judge everybody on the cars and trucks and stuff that you have. I moved in late winter and wasn't told that when summer come that the park would empty out and the classes the food trucks everything would come to a stop except they wanted full rent for the whole entire summer with no discount and it absolutely nothing to do The showers are nice but there's no fans or ACS so it's a sweat box the TV room has two nice size TVs but they overheat in the summer so you can't watch them they shut off and Jesse just doesn't want to hear about it the internet is kept at a low grade lockdown so you can forget about using it cuz it froze you off I was asked to take my truck and park it in the storage area because it wasn't new enough for all the little Rich folks that Jesse was willing to kiss their butt for their money .. it is a beautiful Park but they don't maintain it. They allowed it to grow into a cactus jungle with weeds The park is owned by four or five people out of Phoenix that absolutely dumped no money into this place is really sad!!! 30 amp spot that was not level costed me $950 each month.. I just can't believe that they think it's okay to go into your credit card or your bank card and make changes without contacting you first. .... She will tell you that it's her rights as the park manager Here's an example Management thinks they can just charge your cards Park's not maintained full weeds For the cost of the park the only thing is nice is the pool The gym the pool hall and the TV room are not usable when it's hot outside only refuses to put AC in the windows My advice is possibly find a different Park I would not suggest this one at all the manager and her husband are both pretty hateful Yes I would love for the owners to contact me but I don't believe they will They keep your deposit Jesse where is my deposit???

Loved this RV Park! We stayed 3 weeks in April. Sites are large size, and many offer privacy with trees and mini desert gardens between them. The park's north border backs up to some epic desert trails for mountain biking, hiking, or just quiet walks amongst the lush desert vegetation. The birds sing a constant symphony from dawn to dusk, and lots of other wildlife like coyotes, rabbits, lizards, and great horned owls to observe. Really enjoyed the NO KIDS ALLOWED rule! Made for a nice adult experience with no distracting little human energy! There is a little "mountain" in the middle of the park for great sunset and moonrise views. Most days we didn't even leave the park as there was so much to do on site like a swimming pool, library, gym, laundry room, TV Lounge, and nature, nature, nature!! Definitely recommend!!

The park borders on 2 huge parks for easy access to the desert. The manager, Jesse, works tirelessly to help the residents in every possible way.. She is warm, kind and professional, going the extra mile is standard in her daily approach to residents and managing the office. Jesse knows everyone by name and is always ready to lend a warm smile and helping hand.

We enjoyed our brief stay at Desert Trails RV Park. We love Tucson, and it's one of our favorite spots for the winter. We tend to stay at the neighboring park Justin's Diamond J, which has a little simpler and more open feel. However, we were impressed with all of the amenities offered at this park: showers and laundry, dog parks, a pool, and plenty of areas for gathering and activities. They have a thriving community with a calendar of events -- including concerts -- and we particularly love that the park backs up to a beautiful trail system leading to Tucson Mountain State Park. It's also in a great location near Saguaro National Park, the newly reopened Old Tucson Studios, and the Desert Museum. Check our YouTube video for more details on the park and surrounding restaurants and attractions. *Note that this is a 40+ park.*

Desert Trails RV Park is a hidden gem in Tucson. Located just outside of Saguaro National Park, the RV Park has a lot of amenities: showers, swimming pool, workout room, library, clubhouse, kitchen, game room, and scheduled activities during the winter. It is surrounded by several scenic bike and hiking trails. Everything is a bit rustic but works fine. Our full hookups worked and we had no problems. The WiFi worked fine on all our devices. The RV park is a winter resort, so you'll have more difficulty finding reservations between November and April. However, during the summer, it's practically empty - which is great if you want privacy. Jesse runs the place, and she is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this RV park.
