Still under construction, pool is never opened. We travel all over the US and have never paid so much money monthly. It wouldn't be as bad if it was more like a resort and if place was fixed up. The owner needs to give customers a discount during this construction mess have their pool open and dryers fixed. They charge 200 a month for an extra vehicle. They have a little store and it is in a quiet area, the couple that manages it are nice. I will finish my month here and move on. This could be a nice park but needs lots of work !

KOA Holiday is a joke. This was the Worst RV Park we have stayed in ever. We were charged full price for no cable, WIFI and nothing else on the WEB-Site. We were offered another site that “may” have better services. I am handicapped and needed a paved spot. What was offered was a back in gravel space. Of course they would lower the fee. The spot we were in should have been less. We left a day early no one was in the office. I left a message we had departed and would like a refund. We were offered a rain check for Davie, but will not have a reason to come back. Perfect nightmare.

Refused to give me my deposit money of 100.00 back. Why did I NEED to cancel? Because the Governor told everyone to stay off the roads (unless evacuating) because a major hurricane Milton was heading straight for my house! Called corporate office and they said it wasn’t their decision. How cold hearted! Preying off of someone else’s misfortune! I needed that money to help prep my family for this major disaster! I will NEVER give this cold hearted location my money nor any KOA location because corporate greed would not help me! I did not want to cancel my much needed vacation. I HAD to cancel it!! Do you want me to take down this post? Give me money back! Based on the other bad reviews of this location corporate MUST step in! This one location is putting a huge scar on ALL KOA’s!

This is by far the worst and most stressful camping experience I’ve had (Feb-Mar 2023). The Manager and staff are either extremely rude or aloof and do more than nothing to make you feel welcome. We had initially been told we were in one site against the back private wall of trees. Great! When we got there they wanted to put us in a parking lot with walking path directly behind our RV. No grass nor privacy. We indicated where they said we were supposed to go (and wanted to be) and the woman Manager said, “ you don’t want to go there; the neighbors have KIDS”. The neighbor with kids had similar stories to ours, as did many other people in the park. We tied our awning down to a couple of palm trees. They were there within the hour to tell us not to do this. Fine. No chit chat no friendly attitude. There was no garbage pick-up like at every other KOA. We went to the office to ask how to have friends come visit (not stay, just sit at a campfire for an evening). They told us to have them come to the office upon arrival and to pay a fee. When our friends arrived, they went to the office but it was closed. So they came to visit anyway. Within 10 minutes of arriving, an employee told us to come move their car (after dark, not a full campground at all). Fine. The next day we received an email with a ‘final warning’ as to our stay. Didn’t even have time to check in with the office before we got this. Every time the Manager walked by, she stared and snarled. No wave nor smile. Not once did an employee say a friendly hello. Not once did they come have a friendly chat. No one was welcoming. Spoke to others in the park - same thing. Our neighbors with the kids left early (unhappy with 4 kids not wanting to play outside their bus without the Manager/staff telling the parents how to parent their kids) and were paid up for another month. When another tenant got booked into that spot, we let the family know their spot (paid for) was being double-booked/charged. They complained. What a terribly stressful and un enjoyable month we had there. They were always watching and told us to get away from the pond. Put the cat (who only followed us and never left the site otherwise) on a leash (right!). Highly unrecommended park with current owners and that crazy Manager woman. How is this even a KOA?? This stay was in March of 2023 and may be under new ownership. Oh and like all the other more recent reviews, it was a construction zone too, back then! What a mess - looked like a dump when you drove in. The back was OK and we had access to the trail system behind the park (the only perk).

Nice small campground, couple that runs it are very sweet and helpful. They are working hard to fix it up and so far have done a wonderful job. Definitely a place I would like to come back to and spend some time at. It is going to be a destination that will be worth staying at.
