Was my first time here. Not sure on the price to get in. If your over 65 yrs old you get in for FREE! it was a small beach but nice because it can only get "so busyy" . There's a boat ramp. No motor boats tho. There's a fishing spot too. There's also a camping area in back- I didn't see so no comments on that. They also have 2 to even 3 life guards on duty. I'd love to go again.

Beautiful lake, nice swimming beach with a life guard. They have pick neck tables and grills. The view from the fire tower is great, and I would love to see it in the fall.

GPS took us in through the back entrance, which created a very awkward conversation with rangers at the main checkin for the park. Camping at this park was lovely. The sites were close together, but not on top of each other. There was a beach available for the campers as well as a larger beach for regular park goers. Hikes and walking areas were abundant and there are options for all ages. There is a nature center for children where they can color, read, and see some cool taxidermy. (It's also air conditioned) Bathrooms were clean and showers were private. There is only two showers for the whole campground, but we didn't have to wait and no one was waiting on us. If it is rainy it can be a bit buggy. DCR patrols OFTEN.

This is a nice park. They have many hiking trails with beautiful views.

Very nice park. Beautiful pond/lake with beach. Hiked from parking area to fire tower. The trail is well marked with blue marks on trees. The trail is covered with tree roots, so you have to pay attention to where you walk. There is some incline here and there, especially the walk up to the fire tower. You can also drive up to the fire tower.
