We spent nine nights here with our two young grandchildren and we had a very good time. For the children an excellent place for them to ride their bikes. I loved that this place has rules. Campers mostly followed them. There are many things to do here though I have to say that our grandchildren were most loving the pool. One need only check out the website to see all that is offered. The staff was excellent! They were always helpful and friendly. For example, our grandson got stung by a bee/wasp at the playground, one of the men brought his bike back to our campsite while our granddaughter brought her brother. The camp store was very welcoming with a nice selection of items a camper might need, and the staff there were willing to help in any way. The Park is located in a great spot on the river away from civilization and the drive into the nearby towns is just another adventure. We will be back for sure and we will want to camp in the same site, too. Thanks to all.

"A hard place to get to and even harder to leave!" Let me explain, for the first time guest, be prepared for a pretty steep and narrow entry road to the park (that's the 'hard to get to'). However, once you arrive, the sites are very nice, the grounds are well maintained and well decorated, and the staff is EXCELLENT - all of which makes it harder to leave. You must go to the events like karaoke (... rather Ferry-oke), guest bands, etc. they are a great time, and the staff is very entertaining. I highly recommend a stay at Cummins Ferry RV Park.

Very much enjoyed our first stay at Cummins Ferry RV Campground. I would have never imagined going in that we would be in store for such a great experience! Beautiful scenery, well kept grounds, good sites, nice/clean pool, friendly and accommodating staff. Our site was #74 pull through. It was level and always like concrete pads. Hook up was good, great water pressure so yes a regulator is a benefit. Our dogs loved the dog park. It was super nice! Very limited cell signal and WiFi is spotty, but we were made aware of that prior, so it wasn’t a problem. When we drove out a short distance, we had much better access. We were there to relax, enjoy and take in some of the highlights of Kentucky - and we did just that. Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay for the Saturday night entertainment and food truck - but we definitely plan to be back! Thanks Cummins Ferry for making our visit a memorable one!!!

Very nice campground. Beautiful spot along the Kentucky River. Staff obviously works very hard to keep everything neat and clean. Especially appreciate the laundry room! They are also very friendly and helpful. Pay attention to your message from Cummins Ferry when they tell you to follow check in and check out times. Also when they tell you NOT to follow your GPS. Even so, there is a few miles of narrow, winding road. The worst is the last half mile; it’s very narrow and steep. Not everyone is comfortable with such a drive, but you are missing a good one if you don’t go! It’s very doable; there were a lot of big units there during our stay. (Tow a 34’ fifth wheel)
