I recommend other campgrounds like Oak Grove or Goldenrod, which have traditional back-in with more privacy and easier access. CONS: The side pull-in entires here are awkward here, unless you want the river's edge sites, which are VERY sandy. The water spigot was blocked off with a chain so we had to decamp and drive over to Day Use Area to refill water tanks. Campground is also under construction in summer 2023 so lots of big piles of sand to navigate bikes around, and several sites are flooded. PROS: quiet campground and very nice neighbors, lots of frogs for kids to catch, nice view of Platte River.

This is a very nice camp ground, the state staff have been very nice. The showers/bathrooms are old but clean.

Very nice campground. Lots of shade, big sites easy to park in parallel paved sites, no need to back in. Clean shower house. 20, 30, 50 amp power. We are planning to go back there. Reservations are only taken 30 days in advanced, an inconvenience when we need 3 sites together and we are coming in from multiple states.

Great Experience! Will definitely be coming back. We loved our spot 124 and highly advise to pull in the wrong way so your door is on the grass and not the road!
