My daughter had the BEST time here…met her first real friend/playmate. They had a great time, got some really cute photos. We’ll be back for sure!!

It is a peaceful place, not too busy most of the time. The grass is over grown these days though. Water fountains are half functional after the rain last week, still functional though! This park has ducks and squirels. Overall,clean and good place for a friends and/or family picnic.

It's erroneous information to say this park has restrooms. It needs restrooms but doesn't have them. Maybe if you're paying to use the pool, but I don't know if anyone off the street can just go into the community building needing a restroom. Fail. All Sac parks should have restrooms, it's 2024.

Always nice to have a park around the corner, had a playground for kids and come nice sidewalks. The city needs to try and clean up the fallen trees and then all will be good. They have some tennis courts off to the side that are always empty but that are nice enough to use. Has some picnic areas with a grill.

I love the location of this park as it is very convenient, and I appreciate that there is an enclosed area by the community center for toddlers. However, I do agree with other reviewers that the park needs to be seriously cleaned up. There is a ton of graffiti, cobwebs, and litter every time we visit. It's unfortunate because this would be my go-to. Lots of transient folks walking around and there have been a few occasions there have been adults or teenagers sleeping in the playground of the 2-5 year old section which I can't say makes me feel incredibly safe taking my child there. I do feel safer being visible to Cottage Way at that part of the park area, but the rest is not. I've started opting for busier, less convenient parks. Hopefully it turns around, we used to love Cottage Park!
