We stayed here for two weeks in June and it was amazing. The grounds are really well maintained, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the proximity to downtown Golden can’t be beat. We walked along the creek every day as well as walking to local restaurants. We have three little kids, and really loved how close the Golden Museum, library, and park with a playground were. The whole staff clearly cares very much about the quality of the campground and their guests’ experiences. They always went above and beyond delivering our packages to our campground and humoring our kids’ many conversations. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique small campground experience.

Very clean, friendly staff, location is very conveniently located near the town so you could walk or bike to restaurants. There is also a nice walking/biking path right next to the river at the edge of the campground. Bathrooms/laundry very clean. Would go back again!

Charming RV Park. Personnel are top rate. Full hookups. Only one slot has 50 amp service. Amazing access to downtown Golden. The creek next to it is beautiful. The walk path is first rate. Free Wifi is provided but is unreliable. Don't come here for the Wifi!

Next to Creek, very active area with constant people and dog traffic. The walking trail is very popular as is the park around the corner. (Indoor water slide in the rec center@ Park) Can be a tight spot for big RV we stayed two nights in two different spots. 36' class C no problems.

Showed up minutes after check in hours to no information on where we were staying or the codes to the bathrooms. Typically, campgrounds will accomodate those traveling far to get there, but no one trained the Clear Creek crew on the same hospitality! One employee has continued to bang on my door every ten minutes to complain about my tire being parked an inch too far one way. I have been traveling the country and have yet to have a service experience as bad as this campground on the entirety of my trip. The door to my trailer is now dented because of that man. Beautiful river, don’t expect the same from the staff!
