Very cute and quiet area. It was fun seeing what has been preserved there. The little museum was really cool. Lots of benches with great views mostly at the top but on the shore area as well There were bbqs at the top I saw a cafe type place that was closed but looks like it does run for limited hours

I enjoyed that there was an actual historical site as to how the camp was named. But I also do enjoy that there is a campsite available at several spots. It’s closer to the waters so definitely in the evening. It gets a bit colder but nonetheless, I actually thoroughly enjoyed myself with family and on a separate trip with friends.

Bristol view across the bay and very relaxing. There’s a flushing toilet but no trash bin inside. There’s a small museum of some sort but not much to see. There was a private event that was happening when we were there of which I learned that you can host an event such as a wedding after 5pm.

Gates were closed after a certain time of night. No Parking from 11pm to 5am. Parked anyways as we had the camper with no backup plan. We heard very disturbing chanting and voices at around 2am somewhere in the distance. I felt like we were either going to be muderered or possessed. Cars were racing down the roads at alarmingly fast speeds..so that was another fear unlocked on an already super creepy night. Lesson learned, do not disobey signs that say no overnight parking....unless you want to feel like you're the main character in a horror film. Beautiful views in the morning and I'm sure it's less haunted as a day trip once all the spirits and ghosts are resting. When we read up some more on the backround of the place it confirmed all our experiences as being common in this area. Never again.
