Great park! Whether you're looking for day use or camping, I highly recommend this park for either/ both. It's a big park with so many amenities. Camping, hiking, biking, disc golf, playground, picnic. We ride bikes in all areas of the park. Very nice. We hiked a little on the nature trail (easy). The campground is very clean, week maintained.

We love this park. Not only does it have easy trails to navigate for older people but it offers a place to take your horse, or ride your bike. I also love the information center and 1800s kitchen garden. And we stumbled upon an antique Ford car show.

Great historical place to camp. There are several museums to visit. There are plenty of hiking trails as well as disc golf and several bike trails. The best trail is a flat roughly 2 mile trail along the Willamette river to the Butteville store which is one of the oldest in Oregon. They have great lunches and fabulous ice cream. The A loop in the campground is older and more closer together with shorter sites. It is more family oriented with a large playground area and flat area to ride bikes. The B loop is newer and has larger sites for bigger RVs although not as many trees as the A loop. This is a big park with a lot of historical significance and plenty to do.

Beautiful park and campground with a wonderful bike trail along the willamette river. We stayed in a yurt and enjoyed one of the most clean and open area campgrounds that we've been to in Oregon. Lots of space here - you dont feel like you're right next door to someone else. I really enjoyed the historical nature of the place too. Will definitely come again.

I had never been to Champoeg State Park before—Wow! I loved the walking paths, the trees, the river! If you haven’t been, I would highly recommend it!
