We stayed at Cane Creek Campground for 2 weeks and we loved every minute of it. Campground overall: very clean, well tended to daily, peaceful, shaded and beautiful. RV site: sites are spacious, hookups work great. Sites are paved but with incline or decline and leveling was a bit of a challenge. Playgrounds: the playground are in great working order and there are 4 of them in the campground area + there are few more in the Cane Creek day use park. Lake and park: gorgeous lake views and access to the water. There was no open beaches or swimming at the time we were there but you could rent a boat, canoe etc. Trails: the trails around the campground and park are easy and beautiful. A good mix of park, paved path walking or easy nature hike. Overall this park is clean, beautiful, well cared for and we loved our time here. Other campers were respectful and active. We would come back and we do recommend you come stay here.

We camp here often and I'm always amazed by this hidden gem so close by! Spaces are large enough to spread out and not feel crowded, the bath houses are very clean, and the park rangers and staff are great. Lots of trails for hiking and very dog friendly. The majority of sites have elec/water/sewer hookups and they even provide free (limited) wifi. Happy Camping!

Drove down from New Jersey with friends in early April. Our 2 travel trailers were in the full hook-up section along the outer rim of Cane Creek Campground: #35 & #37. Beautiful spot with lots of trees and a lake view. Easy setup on paved site and pretty level for the trailers. Highly recommend! Would love to visit again for a longer time. Exceptional location run by Union County. Cane Creek Park is just across the water. Lots to do there in-season.

Had a great stay at the campground, the rangers in the little show were extremely nice and helpful. The put-put is fun and there are some great trails. They just recently redid all of their trails and the markings, so it was a pleasant experience. I was able to bike on the purple trail, that was fun.

First tome camping here. Lots of rules which aren't really a huge problem. It's just that you have to pitch tent in marked spots (that flood when it rains). You have to park cars in parking lot which makes it a hassle to protect food against wildlife. Bathrooms were in good shape. Cabin camping is the way to go here. You can park by your cabin and the cabin that one in our party rented can sleep 6 with heat/ac. Probably won't tent camp here again unless they change the flooding sites.
