Place looked beautiful, was there for a church dinner, food was fair,( meat was good , carrots way under cooked) service not so great. I had to ask 5 people for coffee cups that ran out, before getting one it as if they didn't understand me. Then the one that brought to me was dropped on floor and he took it and washed it and brought it back to me and it was chipped from where it had been dropped..

My daughter had just a Meh time for her day camp experience. She said her counselors were more concerned with socializing with each other than engaging with the kids, and they seemed “annoyed “ when kids asked them about anything. She said she felt she could not go to her counselors with questions or concerns. My daughter also said they hardly fed them anything at all and gave the kids three chicken nuggets for their protein during lunch time and a scant amount of salad. She said if they wanted seconds, they had to compete with other groups as to who was the quietest group for up to 10 minutes then the group that was chosen as quietest took large portions leaving the rest of the kids scrounging for scraps. She also said the breakfast after the sleepover was just as minuscule and they only got a half of a mini bagel and a mini cinnamon roll. No protein whatsoever. During the first two days of camp, there was heavy rainfall and zero planning for entertaining the kids during the rainy days. My daughter said they spent 5 hours in a large room just talking and sitting. I also chose Camp Loughridge because it was advertised as a Christian camp. My daughter said they read two Bible verses a day, had a short discussion on them, then nothing more was said about faith otherwise throughout days. She also said the foul language from the other kids was out of control and heard frequently the F word from other campers. I paid $400 for a lousy, worldly day camp that she won’t ever return to.

My leadership program has utilized Camp Loughridge every May for decades and I cannot speak highly enough about the great facilities, the wonderful personnel, and how much my team loves being there. If you’re looking for facilities for leadership development, this is the place!

This place is amazing and it's incredible what they offer to help children dealing with grief. When I took my son to camp I was very impressed. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Amazing staff. Very accommodating and willing to work with your schedule. I’ll admit I wasn’t the best at returning emails or texts but was blown away at how sweet Katelynn was and how amazingly beautiful the facility is. Ultimately it did not end up being our choice in a wedding venue but we will for sure be looking at their facilities for future events!!
