The trail, between Hague Ave and Georgesville Rd, has alot of homeless persons. There is a large encampment on either side of the trail behind the casino, between Wilson Rd & Georgesville.....didn't feel safe there. The ride after Georgesville and out of the city to the west is lovely.

I loved this trail and worth the travel to the Columbus area. In the hottest of Summer my journey on this trail and the Battelle Darby Trail were so enjoyable. After biking the Battelle Darby Park I moved on to the Camp Chase Trail. Easy riding with great sights along the way. If you ride early there are many habitat searching for breakfast.

I love the bike trail for the most part. I have yet to venture past Wilson road on it tho. Or past rhodes park. I stay local. But its nice. Peaceful. Only thing i think would help is maybe some trash cans along the trail for people to throw their trash in instead of throwing it on the ground. Maybe some occasional benches for riders or runners to stop and rest or relax in some places. That would be cool. And i have plenty more ideas also. But I hope to one day venture a few hours in either direction. It would be cool to take like a pull along cart on a bike and camp and make a weekend trip or something with a friend or more. Never alone. There are weirdos out there. But all in all i love the bike trail.

There is a homeless camp obstructing the path just before Hague Avenue. There is a abundance of used needles and trash all along the trail. It does not feel safe to venture on.
