Needed a spot with hookups so we could run the AC. They put us in the middle, in 104 heat, with 4 service dogs. It's 30 meters to the dog park on pavement. The dogs needed to pee. There's a tree about 5 meters away. We took them to the tree off.leash so they could get there quickly. No sooner did we get under the tree, than the "manager" came hotfooting it toward us, and the service dogs put themselves in front of him to protect us. It's their job. We will NOT be staying here. Trying to locate a different parks so we can stay in the area until after our appointment. There was NO reason for him to even come outside. No one else was

The bike trails that matter are closed. A local told me they have been closed for months. The Jerimiah Smith bike trail is closed. Being new to the area, I wasn't able to visit Old Sacramento. Google has no means for customers to right there mistakes and ways dos'nt do bicycle directions.

It's a good place to park an RV when visiting the Sacramento area. They have 24 hr police, fire and EMS services on site. It's quiet, and in the middle of everything. Malls, food, groceries, golf courses and entertainment. It's not a resort but has all hookups.

I called for reservations for this park a few months ago and did not show up. They charged our card. We asked them why? Because we did not show up. The fella who took our reservation was not kind. My wife asked if this was a state run organization, and he said no. They refunded the one nights fee. Yesterday, we wanted to reserve 2 nights. The same fella was very kind, as I shared that I just lost my mom a few days ago. He told me to fill out the online reservation form and that he would take care of everything once we arrive. An hour later, after getting my RV road ready, he calls me and says we are banned Inefinitely?!? I asked why, and he misrepresented my wife by saying she threatened to take appropriate actions against the company if we didn't receive a refund. I told him I had back surgery during that time, and we couldn't make that trip. He didn't want to hear my plea and told me that based on the notes, he was banning us from reserving their rv park. I never experienced such a horrible bipolar service in my 61 years of living. I really looked forward to using their park because of the concert on grounds that we had tickets for, and he ruined my father's day in addition he tainted the memory of my mother's passing.... Very upset patron and Sacramento native.

Convenient, basic RV park as noted by other reviewers. As with other campgrounds, there are sites to avoid. #401 is directly under a freeway-sized street light. If you have skylights or inadequate window coverings you will find it very bright inside your rig at night. Avoid this and the adjacent couple sites. Also beware of navigation issues wrt the street address vs. mailing address. Google has this sorted out, but Uber does not.
