I hate to give this a low review because the staff and area is great. Although I paid for waterfront at 34 and it’s all woods in front - see pic. I just graduated at 53 with my Masters and after running my own sober living house, working two jobs and school as a single mother, I wanted to get away for some serenity and for three days was nothing but constant noise. Building docks and lawn mowing crew on third day. I realize things have to get done but bad timing for me. Bathrooms are awful and full of mold and bugs are terrible inside facilities. It is a beautiful place to come but stretch out maintenance.

The campground itself is nice. Pretty views and spacious sites. However the bathroom is awful! It smelled of dirt and mold. The showers were filthy! I would not wash my dog in it. We thought this campground could be on a regular rotation, but no way! Unless the bathroom gets a major upgrade!

Good place for couple and family camping. We did cake up, camp fire, camping whole night, no fan, but it is good, morning sunrise 🌅 is wonder full. We did grill in chicken and panner and veggies using camp stove. Very memorable experience. It is 30 min drive from Nashville, TN. Restroom is available. Food delivery is also available.

Had family visiting and staying here and the campground was clean, gated, with mature well mannered guests, during my visit. The gate employee was friendly and informative, the bathroom was clean, and available amenities were nice. Seemingly great place!

Very dangerous and nasty situation at this campground this morning. The manager whom I approached politely about three dogs, running unkempt and unsupervised through the campground, chasing young kids barking at other dogs and harassing my own dog very dangerous. She informed me that it was my fault. not the best response. On top of that this facility needs better maintenance showers filthy with hair in them toilets, clean, unkempt, and the, two people sitting on their large posteriors in the guard shack should get out and work instead. Avoid this one at all cost folks. Addendum: An incompetent from the army core of engineers called me just now and again did not take any responsibility for the issue or situation and deferred to animal control. This is why our government and bureaucrats are worthless.
