We spent two nights here (end of august) on our way to South Texas. I failed to make a reservation (using Passport America), but the staff were very kind and accommodating. Our pull thru site was close to the office and fit our truck, 43' 5th wheel (unhooked), with my wife's small SUV behind it. I'm assuming this time of year is low season for them although there appeared to be quite a few long term residents. Don't expect much from the WiFi. We received cable channels for approximately 3 hours at the start of our stay, but it was pretty much non-existent the rest of our stay. Not sure if it was our antenna, but we were only able to get one channel. The park is obviously dated, but it appeared to be pretty well kept. My wife used the pool and she said it was nice. This is a great place to pull off the highway that is close. With that said, the highway noise isn't too bad, but be aware there are train tracks in the area. I would be willing to stop here again. Not a huge TV watcher, but when it's piping hot outside, some cable channels would be nice and I hope they have that figured out.

We really enjoyed our stay! The check in process was smooth, the staff was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and showers also. We were conveniently located next to the laundry room which came in handy because we had many loads of dirty laundry from the festival we just attended. There were turtles to feed in the lake. You can buy food at the store for 1 dollar. That was a highlight for us! We had so much fun. There was a taco truck within walking distance and Tom's burgers near by as well. Try their fries! Goodbye Braunig Lake Resort. Forever a special place in my heart.

We checked in on sep 28th, we are renting a cabin for $1200 a month. As we walk in there are dead roaches, spiders and little gnat looking bugs everywhere. The bathroom was filthy and there was used panty liners and other trash in our can. We called the front office and they said there was nothing much they can do for us. She ASSURED us the room was cleaned that day. How are you going to charge $1200 a month for a filthy filthy apartment/cabin? Not to mention the troves of wasps nest all over the deck.

First time stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Private bathroom and shower was clean. We will be staying again when our travels take us through San Antonio.

Very easy parking, and the cleanest restrooms anywhere. I seriously have never encountered cleaner restrooms in an RV resort. We arrived late, after dark even, and the night host cheerfully met us at the gate and escorted us to our slip.
