Swore I would never going camping... we arrived after dark so I could not see anything more than sand and yes, about to sleep in a tent on the ground. I LOVE it so much. Waking up to the sunrise changed my attitude and opinion on camping so fast! My family and I return as often as possible. Dreams are envious of Boulder Beach. PSA: Boulder City police are on a mad power trip so be careful getting in and out. Think they target out of state plates. Pulled over for going too slow (maybe seven miles per hour under up a mountain in a 2001 passing bicycles in the right lane....seriously! Had to go to court in BC too)

My wife and I absolutely love this spot! Such a relaxing spot to camp. There are usually not a lot of people here, there is shade, wifi, clean bathrooms and about 200 yards from the water. The camp hosts and hostesses we have met here are super nice and absolutely amazing! The campsites are always clean and people respect the quiet after 10 pm; although I usually have my Bluetooth speaker up pretty high, but none else can hear it! They have tables at the campsites, fire pits and areas to set up your tent on flat ground. There are handicapped spots available not far from the bathrooms and also have RV hookups for an additional cost. Tent camping is $20 a night, but if you're a senior over 62 or disabled, you get to camp for only $10 a night! If you're a vet or active in the military, handicapped, disabled, or a senior; you may be eligible for a free national park pass. Check it out!

All reservations are done only online. They say there's a camp host on site, but the many times I stayed, there never was. Wifi is available throughout, the restrooms were kept clean, no baths. Water spickets are randomly located. Firewood is not sold anywhere so be sure to stock up before arrival. It can be peaceful at times, but other times there will be that drunk crew that stay up till 5 am the next day cackling, screaming profanities and making sure others nearby get no sleep. Coyotes howl all night, I actually like that. You get a fire pit/grill and a table with each lot. Tent campers may find it uncomfortable to set up on harsh gravel grounds. Although, there are some spots that have a sand pit for tents. Just seems everyone I chose did not. Try to avoid reserving near the dumpster lot...the trash trucks are aggravatingly noisy, their reverse buzzer is abnormally amplified loud and all this happens around 5:30a.

Nice little local Campground. The sites are a little close together but overall it's pretty nice. Clean bathrooms with flushing water toilets, Nice and dark at night for stargazing, this is like our fifth time camping here so obviously we like it
