Lots of places to explore/fish. They have kayak/paddleboats for rental surfing the summer and tubes/snowshoes during winter. Lots of restrooms. Love taking our dog here.

This place is very nice and very big for walking, running, riding small boats, you can bring a table and chairs and spend an excellent day with the whole family and there are many parking lots, they also have camping sites and you have to pay to camp, you need to reserve in advance

Best place for fishing, camping, picnics or just the views. Go here all the time. They also have canes and other boats that you could ride on. The trail is also nice to walk on.

Massive forest preserve with miles and miles of diverse trails. I recommend going up Mount Hoy. I was able to see the Chicago skyline!

Blackwell archery range is a wonderful place to practice! We go there often and enjoy each visit.
