We stayed here in May while visiting my son who lives in Brooklyn. It's a very nice campground. Once you go through the gate you wouldn't know you are in a large metropolitan area. It's close to several historical places to visit, such as the Hamptons, Montauk Point Lighthouse, Fire Island Lighthouse. If we were in the area, we would camp here again.

The staff was great. The bathrooms and showers need a complete renovation. It was absolutely disgraceful standing in a puddle of water that does not drain trying to dry yourself off while the bees are trying to get in. All handles in shower broken off and not even fixed. Shame on New York. I’ve been in cleaner showers in a truck stop on I95. Never going back.

Accomadating staff at check-in. Decent site. Nice to be relatively close to NYC. Pricing is too high, $69/night for out of towners...which everybody is. Showers were not clean and were rather gross, although nice hot water. Women's restroom very unkempt. Only place we'd ever camped where they required proof of registration and insurance.

Beautiful oasis! Dump station on the driveway out. Spacious RV sites. Plenty of room to walk the dogs. Clean bathrooms. Nice office staff. About an hour from New York city. 5-10 min drive to Long Island Railroad.

One of the nicer RV parks we have been to. It is quiet, spots are big enough for large rigs, grass area with table and charcoal grill, and a large field with playground. Friendly front office. 50 amp hook up spots. I highly recommend if you are staying in Long Island - great central location. On-site bathroom could use an update.
