First time here and we had a great time. We came out for the pig roast and concert. Plenty of activities for the kids to stay busy. Nice atmosphere and everyone around us was very friendly. We had an issue with a heavily intoxicated man that was threatening to fight our children while they were playing at the park in the evening. Brought the issue to management and they handled it swiftly. They made it clear that kind of behavior was never welcome in the campground. The man was gone by the next morning and we had no other issues. The water and electrical hookups could be placed better but worked perfectly. Just glad we had our extra extension cable and hose. The bathrooms and showers were nothing special but better than a lot of campgrounds we have been to. Showers had plenty of room and a decent sized changing area. The WiFi worked great the first 2 nights but we had issues with it on the last night. We will definitely be back in the future.

This is our second time camping here. Last year we found this place set up camp and liked it so much we extended our stay for two more nights. It would have been more if we didn’t have to go home. Came back this year and couldn’t be happier. The campsites are nicely maintained. The owners are as friendly as can be. We are not swimmers and we don’t have kids so we don’t use the pool. The water has a little smell to it but the longer we were there the better it got. The campsites are very good size and everyone around us paid attention to the 11:00pm quiet time. We will return again for sure.

I’ve been meaning to post this for a few weeks now. Went to Apple Creek to try out the campgrounds. The overall grounds are nice and wooded but the facilities are not kept up well. Broken showers. A lot of sand. The owners are only nice to seasonal campers. Did not feel welcome by many. It has potential to be a nice campground if they started over. A lot of the campers are extremely stuck up and favoritism shows. I witnessed a dog bite take place. Nothing was done about the situation and another camper told me this happens all of the time with the same dog. It seems like the type of place that if you’re on the owners good side the rules don’t apply to you. Extremely disappointed. The country store is a nice touch but that’s all I can say about it. Didn’t have many supplies. Decent trails. Will try Groves next time.

This is our 2nd time there and it won't be the last. Tom and Katrina + staff do a great job of making the campers feel welcome and comfortable. Pretty quiet campground. Great relaxing camping trip to a "off the beaten path" feel. Have been to dozens of campgrounds that are seasonal heavy and this one feels different. All of the season campers were nice to the weekenders and were very welcoming. Fair amount of things to do for the kids, helps if they're country kids for sure though. Lots of trails for walking and bike riding, and a loaded pond to fish in. I recommend apple creek to anyone looking for a nice getaway with family or friends.

Family owned and operated. This is a nice campground with reasonable rates. We stay here every year. Lots of trees, pool, store, and lots more. It's not a corporate type campground where you are just in a field on a small sight with no shade and no room.
