Easy enough to get to. 30 ft travel trailer & F350 pick-up fit into spot nicely. Hook-ups in good condition. Host moved our reservation days when we had to delay our trip do to illness without fees or hassle. They recycle. Narrow, gravel spots with trailers tucked into every nook & cranny possible. Pretty level. Off season so every spot not filled currently. Dog friendly but only with a small grassy spot by major roadway to walk dogs. Otherwise only strips of grass are between trailer sites & front lawn of house which has play area and fire pit. Only some sites with fire pits & picnic tables. Bathrooms & laundry clean, did not use. We camped at Alton RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed one night going to Yellowstone and one night on the way back home. Nice for an over night stay with full hook-ups and 2 clean and well supplied restrooms. However, only 1 shower was operational. (Thus the 4 star rating) Joy, the owner, is truly a joy. She took us to meet her chickens and let us pick apples from the tree in her back yard. The large walk-through garden in front of the house is a very nice touch. Yes, the sites are very close together so don't expect privacy or to spread out. The wi-fi was better than most places. If you're lucky enough to get a space behind a bigger rig toward the back of the lot, the road noise isn't bad. But on our return trip we ended up on the front row right next to the road. Not so good.

Stayed at Alton for one week in a Class A Motorhome. Site was nice and clean with green grass and gravel drive. Owners were very accommodating and made sure everything worked well. Alton was close to every activity I had. Definitely would stay again.

This is by far the most charming family owned RV park I have been to. Joy and her parents as well as the staff are the kindest souls alive. The love they put into the park shows from the beautiful walking garden to the immaculate bath houses. We stayed for a month and explored Columbus and all of the metro parks around! So much to offer from this location. Far enough away from the hustle of city life but close enough to explore everything. There is also a farm across the street with fresh produce for sale daily. They even have a cute Emu! I can’t say enough good things about this park. Ty for a wonderful month!!

Relatively close to interstate. Very clean bathrooms and showers! Convenient pull-through lots with standard hookups. Great place for an overnight stay; close to the city.
