Our five-night stay at Albuquerque KOA exceeded expectations. The campground's cleanliness and aesthetic appeal were notable. The pool and hot tub provided a welcome respite. Staff responsiveness and attentiveness were exceptional. Sites offered generous spacing. Notably, the nearby tram ride is highly recommended. Check-in and check-out processes were efficient. I strongly endorse this KOA to visitors of the city. Kudos to the staff, particularly Bear, for an outstanding experience.

Clean, easy access, friendly staff. Multiple small dog runs and a dog bath. Some sites have shaded dog pens with a pergola and grill. They must love dogs. The campground sits next to the interstate, so you need to keep windows closed overnight, the upside of this is access. Sites are long, level, and paved. Gravel elsewhere.

The front desk people were wonderful. True customer service is rare these days, so after 3 long days of driving for a move, from Tennessee to Arizona, that was a complete disaster, Jarrod and Cindy(?) were such a delight. They made our stay easy and comfortable. We can't thank you enough for these Angels. And the kabin was amazing. THANK YOU!

As a long time KOA Rewards member, I don't feel this campground is worth the price. The front desk staff were very friendly and considering this campground is not in the best area, I appreciate the extra attention to security. That being said, there are many areas of improvement. We were put in a site over where it looks like they have long term residents. Those sites looked cluttered and not well maintained. There also appeared to be sites that were used for RV storage as I noticed at least one motorhome that had significant damage stored in one of the sites along the highway wall. Lastly I had an issue with the site we were assigned. We had requested a site with the "gated off-leash pet suite". The pictures online show fenced in pet areas with "turf" installed. The site we were provided had no artificial turf in the pet suite and in fact was all rocks. We spoke with the front desk staff and were told the other sites (all other sites with pet suites had the artificial turf; to include the dog park) were not available. We were also told the turf gets hot and was scheduled to be removed from all of the pet suites. As it was early in the season, why was it not removed already prior to the beginning of the hot season? And why do all the photos online of your campground show the sites with the artificial turf in the pet areas? I am guessing four months later and now through the hot season, the turf still remains as it is still in all of the campground site photos online when booking. We had requested a discount in the amount of the additional cost for the pet suite as we told them our dogs would not be put in the suite that contained all gravel/rocks. We were denied that discount which would have probably equaled about $25 a night for a site that was already over $100 a night. As I was walking our dogs, I was taking pictures of all of the pet suites to show them ALL of their suites except for ours contained the turf. The maintenance guy driving around in his golf cart proceeded to ask me what I was doing. As I was explaining the issue I had with this situation, he just drove off. Extremely rude! Not the level of customer service I would expect from a KOA. Very disappointed.

There is a pool and hot tub. Pool open seasonally 9a-9p. Hot tub 24/7. It is next to the highway, so if you are tent camping, be aware you can hear every car. Lovely tent sites. Have a pergola over the picnic table and a fire pit with a grid over the top and wood benches around. There is also power and water. We went at the end of July and recommend bringing fans. The night was all right, but it was hot during the day. The camp store had lots of things to buy. Overall, it's a great stop if you're traveling through.
