My family and I stayed at this campsite this weekend and it was absolutely wonderful. They are tucked away from main roads and the nature view driving in is very nice. I put 5 stars under rooms even though they are sites. We stayed at site 96 for pop up campers and the layout was perfect. The river was right down the road. We were right by full bathrooms with showers and also the laundry room. Also right out our doors was a dog area for our 3 dogs and a playground for my daughter which they all loved. They also have a common house where you check in with coffee, games, and much more. There are permanent residents there but it’s so very quiet you wouldn’t know it. There were two wonderful little boys that played with my daughter at the park.The management are very welcoming and friendly and were also from Colorado which is where we were coming from. I definitely recommend anyone visiting the San Antonio area stay here. Was a great experience and we plan on returning in the future. Thank you very much for such a wonderful place to set up for a few days.

This is a wonderful RV park where we stayed for a weekend in our motorhome with our two dogs. We had a spot down near the river under some shade trees. It was very quiet except for the sound of an occasional train in the far distance. We chose this RV park because it has an enclosed dog park which is simple but adequate. We enjoyed the very beautiful trees down along the river, seeing wildlife, and the nice network of walking trails. Our stay was very peaceful, relaxing, and we will stay there again sometime.

The camping area down by the river is very pretty and quiet. This park has great potential. The new management is working on improvements and social events. Park staff is very helpful and friendly. Nice shady walking trails. Lots of wildlife to enjoy. Even with the current drought conditions we were able to catch some fish. There is a dog park, pickleball courts, corn hole, laundry facilities, and fitness center.

Camping at the river is very quiet and peaceful. The new management is working on improvements and planning some social events for everyone in the park. Park staff is very friendly. Nice walking trails, lots of deer and wildlife to enjoy. Even with the drought I was able to catch some fish in the river. There are pickleball courts, a laundry facility, and an exercise room. There is also a dog park and kids playground. Great place to just come and relax.

This park has great potential, but unfortunately the trees are constantly falling all over the park because they are diseased. The owner has been informed and refuses to do anything about it. And it’s not just small branches, these things are 3-4 stories tall! The water is always being shut off with no notice, as well as pesticides and herbicides being sprayed where our children and pets walk and play, also with no notice!
